InfoSec is short for Information Security. InfoSec is not a technology
centric issue. It is a business-wide concern.
Protecting the security of the information owned or hosted by an
organization is not the task of the IT department. It is the task
of each and every employee of that organization.
Protecting the security of information comes down to protecting
the confidentiality, integrity and availability
of that information. This is known as the CIA Triad of Information
Security.
All our services and training classes are geared towards better
protecting the CIA of your information in accordance with industry
and mandated best security practices.
Failure to protect your information can result in extremely negative
consequences, including the following:
- Loss of Prestige for your organization
- Potential litigation
- Potential loss of revenue for the organization
- Downtime and loss of productivity
- Violation of local, state and or federal laws
- Heavy fines
InfoSec is recognized by Security Professionals as being cultural
and behavioral, meaning that it is about people, not technical
devices. By "people", we mean Management and Employees
alike, and all layers of the chain of command in between. Management
must take official responsibility for the data security, and must
spearhead the effort to protect said data. Employees must take responsibility
as daily users of this information for being aware of the security
implications that using organization- and/or client-owned information.
It is only through a global, unified, company-wide security effort
that your organization's data can be protected.
We hope to become your partners in this quest.
