Red Cell was a team of counter
terrorism experts (Navy SEALs) whose mission was to infiltrate top
secret government installations and assets such as nuclear submarines
and military bases in order to test security awareness, controls
and efficiency. Red Cell was extremely successful and the lessons
learned from those engagements helped increase the security of those
sensitive assets.
The goal of Red Cell Security is the same. We are Ethical Hackers,
also known as White Hats. We will attack with the same tools, strategies
and techniques that Black Hats, or malicious hackers, would deploy
against your network, your employees - your data. We will partner
with you and will assist you in identifying what risks, vulnerabilities
and exploits are threatening your data. Then, we will guide you
in your remediation efforts to palliate those issues, and we
will train your personnel to become Security Defenders.
The time to figure out that your current Information Security
Controls are not as efficient as you expected them to be is not
when your organization is under a live attack.
We believe that the only way for you to assess how safe your data
is, is to get a third-party professional to use real world techniques
and tools to provide you with a realistic snapshot of your company's
security posture.
We are not auditors. We work with you, along side your IT and Security
Departments to share our experience and provide the benefit of a
trained outsider "looking in". Not only does this offer
another layer of defense to your network, but it also satisfies
regulatory compliance by respecting the principle of Separation
of Duties.
Our Network Security Engineers have many years of experience in
IT in general, and IT Security in particular, and have worked for
Financial Institutions, Healthcare Providers and Government Agencies.
We understand such regulations as GLBA, FERPA, HIPAA and the PCI
Standards to name but a few.
All our Engineers are Certified Professionals who successfully
acquires such recognized certifications as the CISSP, the CEH, Microsoft's
MCSE, Cisco's CCNA and many others.
